MelancholyI didn't go to English class today and I'm not sure why. I don't think I had any reason to avoid it. My first research paper is due today, but not until midnight, so that's not it...Melancholy
It feels like spring is coming, it's so beautiful outside... So nice and warm in the sun with my sweatshirt on, reading a good book. I guess that's my reasoning, but how "irresponsible" of me.
Sometimes, though, I just let go and remind myself that life does not need to be in such a structured path racing from this place to that and never stopping to just view it all; because, damn, it can be beautiful.
This weather makes me want to clean up

Happens when it's least expected, comes on like a heat wave scorching everyone in its path.
It sounds like deep depression or a manic craze. Paper ripping, tortured weeping, lashing out and cutting deep.
It smells like dissappointment and fear, that unmistakable, antiseptic, horribly sweet and sweaty, hospital smell.
